Not too bad, went to Move It on Saturday to check out the competition(and ended up manning the Stella Mann stall because despite the fact that everyone puts their name down to be a helper, there just weren't enough people selected to go to keep it running)and I'm glad I'm not a dancer. Everyone else is very, very good, and if I prided myself on dancing they'd make me feel very insecure indeed.
One of our show pieces crashed and burned a bit, everyone trooped on stage in their gold jackets and top hats, lined up backs to the audience and waited for the music to start. And waited. And waited. There was a bit of feedback, then they all trooped off again - and the roar from the crowd was even bigger than when Urdang went on, and they brought the whole college to cheerlead. Some of their boys came up to us later to point and laugh. It went ok once the teacher in charge tore back up to us, wrenched the cupboard open to get the spare CD and gave herself an asthma attack in the process, though.
Can't really think of what else is going on right now... I'm forgetting how to tech, which isn't good, seeing as I'm pretty much by default head technician when we do the getin for The Boyfriend(of which we have a stagger through on Friday, and my year's numbers haven't had a rehearsal in over a month) since the last one graduated.
And yes, your trials and tribulations do explain your not being glued to the computer... seems rather a lot for one family.
