I feel this so strongly!
I'm a lurker and it took me about 2 years to figure out tumblr etiquette.
But I also wanted to make friends, or have people to talk to. I'm an internal squee-er and slow on social interaction, so this comment is actually totally out of character for me.
But I've learnt that I need to interact to be able to - interact. It just doesn't come naturally for me, yet.
